National Technical Sales Representative – Shower Systems / Emser Essentials

\n

Location: Hybrid (Remote / Field-Based with National Travel)

\n

Reports To: VP of Marketing and Channel Management

\n

\n

Position Summary Emser Tile is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled National Technical Sales Representative to drive growth and adoption of the Emser Essentials product portfolio, with a primary focus on Shower System solutions. This hybrid role blends technical expertise, sales execution, and product development support, serving as a key liaison between field sales, customers, marketing and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong installation knowledge, a passion for education, and the ability to translate technical product features into meaningful value for customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Sales & Business Development
\n
• Drive national sales growth for the Shower System category, with additional support for broader Emser Essentials brands
\n
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities and expand market penetration
\n
• Support branch teams and customers with technical selling strategies and product positioning
\n
• Contribute to revenue growth through consultative, solution-based selling
\n
• Technical Training & Education
\n
• Lead national and regional training initiatives, both in-person and virtual, for Emser branches, sales teams, and customers
\n
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Shower System technical applications and installation best practices
\n
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and problem solve installation questions, issues, and potential failures in the field
\n
• Develop and deliver engaging educational content to ensure consistent product knowledge across the organization
\n
• Product Development & Technical Support
\n
• Assist the Setting Materials Merchant in the creation and refinement of installation guides, technical specification sheets, and product packaging.
\n
• Work alongside Setting Materials Merchant and Supply Chain teams to align product offerings with market needs
\n
• Provide feedback from the field to support continuous product improvement
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Proven experience in tile installation, construction, or related technical field
\n
• Certified Tile Installer (CTI)
\n
• Membership with NTCA (National Tile Contractors Association) highly desirable
\n
• Prior experience in technical sales or training within flooring, tile, or building materials industry
\n
• Strong communication and presentation skills
\n
• Ability to travel nationally as needed
\n

Pay range and compensation package

\n

\n

\n
• Compensation- Competitive base salary plus bonus structure primarily tied to Shower System sales, with additional incentives tied to Emser Essentials product performance
\n

\n

Responsibilities

• Travel Requirements
\n
• Frequent national travel required, including job site visits, branch support, and customer training
\n
• Expected travel 50–75%, including overnight stays as needed
\n
• Physical Requirements
\n
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during job site visits and training sessions
\n
• Ability to lift and carry materials or product samples (typically 25–50 lbs. but up to 70lbs)
\n
• Ability to perform hands-on demonstrations involving tools and installation materials
\n
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in active construction environments
\n
• Ability to travel frequently by car and air
\n
• Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems
\n
