College of Education and Integrative Studies College of Education and Integrative Studies The Department of Educational Leadership is one of four departments within the college. The Department of Educational Leadership The Department of Educational Leadership includes three programs, the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program, the Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. The values of the department emphasize a commitment to equity-focused leadership, social justice, and organizational continuous improvement to meet the needs of all learners in reaching the goals of equity and excellence. Courses are taught with an emphasis on dialogue and analysis of key educational research, reflection and critical thinking, and experiential learning. The Position The temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions are filled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends in mid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer Sessions may also be available.
