Full Description About the Role Hiredbuddy is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Game Developer to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of engaging gaming experiences while building a strong foundation in game development. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and artists to transform creative concepts into playable, polished features. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and debug game mechanics and systems Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C# and/or C++ Use Unity or Unreal Engine to build and iterate on game levels, UI elements, and interactive features Troubleshoot and resolve bugs reported during playtesting and QA Optimize game performance for various platforms, including PC, console, and mobile Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies Contribute to a positive, communicative, and creative team culture Technologies and Tools Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is essential Strong grasp of C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal) Familiarity with version control systems like Git Basic understanding of 3D math, vectors, and matrices Exposure to game physics and animation systems Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus Understanding of mobile or console deployment processes is advantageous Who You Are Passionate about gaming and eager to learn from experienced professionals Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset Portfolio that demonstrates your enthusiasm for game development Why Hiredbuddy At Hiredbuddy, we believe in fostering talent and providing opportunities for growth.
