This contract role will start on September 22, 2026, and run through May 28, 2027. The position requires on-site presence, involving full-time hours aligned with the school schedule during the 2026-2027 academic year. We are seeking a dedicated educator passionate about fostering English language skills while accommodating students’ diverse learning needs.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 7:30 am - 4 pm Full-time, on-site
• Grade Levels: High school
• Location: Cook County, Illinois, On-Site, 40 hours per week
• School Year: 2026-2027

ESL Teacher - High School Math Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to high school students in English as a Second Language, with a focus on math content.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards and support language acquisition alongside math skills.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic and language development goals.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.

ESL Teacher - High School Math Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois teaching license or certification in ESL or Bilingual Education.
• Prior experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong understanding of math curriculum and instructional strategies for English language learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work on-site and engage effectively with diverse student populations.
