Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Location: Charlotte, NC | Onsite

Compensation: $185K–$200K Base + 25–30% Bonus + Full Benefits

Position Overview

Tiello is partnering with a rapidly growing multi-brand franchise platform in the restoration and home services industry seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead its marketing engine across approximately 140 franchise locations nationwide .

This is a builder CMO, not a caretaker CMO . The ideal candidate will build marketing infrastructure, establish KPIs and systems and improve franchisee-level performances.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national and local marketing strategy across multiple brands.
• Build scalable marketing systems, processes, reporting, and performance standards.
• Establish and track KPIs including CAC, CPL, lead conversion, ROI, revenue attribution, and franchisee adoption .
• Oversee digital marketing, paid social, SEO, lead generation, content, and related channels.
• Partner directly with franchise owners to improve local marketing performance.
• Evaluate and optimize agencies, vendors, technology, and marketing spend.
• Leverage AI and technology to improve execution, efficiency, and scalability.
• Build and lead the marketing function while partnering closely with executive leadership and operations.

Qualifications

• Marketing leadership experience within franchising, restoration, home services, or multi-location businesses .
• Proven experience building marketing infrastructure , not simply managing an established department.
• Strong understanding of both national and local marketing .
• Data-driven with a track record of connecting marketing activity to revenue.
• Comfortable influencing and presenting to franchise owners and operators .
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, analytics, and emerging AI tools.
• A proven VP Marketing / Head of Marketing can be considered; prior CMO title is not required.
