The Role

We're looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the marketing engine behind every Sam The Concrete Man location. You'll own strategy, spend, and results across digital, paid media, social, and local marketing. You'll also shape how our brand shows up as more homeowners use AI tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews to find their home services provider. This is a highly visible seat on the leadership team, with a direct impact on our franchise owners' growth.

What You'll Own

• Growth strategy: Set national marketing strategy and build hyperlocal plans that bring quality leads to every territory.
• Budgets and accountability: Work with our franchise business coaches to build location-level budgets, and track KPIs weekly so every owner can see what their spend delivers.
• Performance marketing: Optimize spend across paid search, paid social, local SEO, and other channels based on cost per lead, close rate, and ROAS.
• AI search: Lead our answer engine optimization (AEO/GEO) strategy so we show up wherever homeowners are searching as the AI landscape continues to evolve.
• Vendors and martech: Select and manage agencies and platforms, and keep improving our CRM, marketing automation, and reporting stack.
• Brand: Protect and grow a brand built on integrity, reliability, and family values.
• Team: Build and develop a high-performing marketing organization.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally in franchise, multi-location home services
• 4+ years in a marketing leadership role
• Deep, hands-on experience managing and optimizing PPC and paid search
• Strong command of CRM and marketing automation platforms
• A business-first mindset: you connect marketing to revenue, profitability, and enterprise value
• A track record of scaling growth with financial discipline and measurable ROI
• Comfort committing to lead-generation targets alongside operations, and owning the results together
• The judgment to double down on what works and change what doesn't
• Operating rigor: clear metrics, accountability, and repeatable processes
• Credibility in the boardroom and with franchise owners in the field
• Willingness to be a hands-on contributor when the situation calls for it
• Calm, decisive leadership through growth and complexity

Compensation: $150,000–$190,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonus. Final pay depends on experience and qualifications.
